Key Responsibilities:

  • Business & Systems Analysis:
    • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to merchant pricing models, product configurations, and payment processing solutions.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Pricing & Product Management:
    • Collaborate with product teams to define and refine pricing structures, discounting strategies, and fee models.
    • Assist in competitive analysis of merchant pricing strategies in the industry.
  • Data & System Integration:
    • Partner with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of pricing models into payment processing systems.
    • Support the implementation of dynamic pricing and AI-driven pricing strategies.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Prepare detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process workflows.
    • Develop and maintain pricing analytics dashboards to track performance and optimize strategies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Act as a liaison between business teams, IT, and external vendors to ensure alignment on merchant pricing strategies.
    • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate pricing functionalities before deployment.
  • Regulatory & Compliance:
    • Ensure pricing models adhere to industry regulations and PCI DSS compliance for secure payment processing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) in the payments or merchant services industry.
  • Strong understanding of merchant acquiring, interchange fees, transaction pricing models, and subscription-based pricing.
  • Experience working with pricing engines, rule-based pricing models, and billing systems.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis to extract insights related to pricing trends.
  • Experience with payment gateways, POS systems, and fintech solutions is a plus.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience with JIRA, Confluence.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
